Become a Scrum Master

If you want to become a Scrum Master or you are thinking out it, I have got you covered.

Becoming a Scrum Master is not easy, as most companies demand having technical IT skills, despite everybody on the internet says you don’t need IT skills as a Scrum Master.

Besides, most companies only hire Scrum Masters with previous work experience. How do you gain experience, without working as a Scrum Master? It's a classic chicken-and-egg problem.

During the next few months, I will cover all the steps you need to become a Scrum Master and get hired, even if you don’t yet have technical experience and no previous work experience as a Scrum Master.

My View on Becoming a Scrum Master

  • Gain experience as a Scrum Master in your current job.
  • Track your success and failures as a Scrum Master to prepare for your future job application.
  • Don't let others holding you back from becoming a Scrum Master.

A few years ago I was in the same situation. I wanted to become a Scrum Master without having any previous work experience as a Scrum Master. I was (and still am) freelancing and managed to get hired as a Scrum Master.
